Summer vacations are finally here and we decided to take our little Dacia Sandero on a road trip to Eastern Europe. With all covid restrictions we decided to get vaccinated and we didn't have problems with them. We started our trip on a Monday morning at 7.30. It took us about 2 and a half hours to. Our first stop was the Seiersberg shopping center near Graz. We had to get something for the road trip and my girlfriend's request was that we visit a shopping center in every town. We went to Primark and had an expensive coffee break there. 7 € for TWO cups of coffee. I guess that is normal. Being fed up with shopping we headed towards Graz. We parked on the side near the center and headed towards the center on foot. We walked through Graz, saw the major sights, and headed towards Bratislava where we had our first reservation. That took us about 3 hours. We stayed in an apartment building through Airbnb. There we had a quick stop because we wanted to see what Bratislava is all about. I'm not gonna lie the city is beautiful. We walked through the old city center and realized it is well built. We quickly realized that Slovakia is quite expensive for s students but luckily we found a restaurant called Slovak pub which is budget and tourist-friendly. As a starter, I ordered garlic soup which was served in a bowl made out of bread which was delicious. For the main course we ordered a Slovak platter for two people which included Dumplings with sheep’s cheese (bryndzové halušky), Pierogis stuffed with bryndza (bryndzové pirohy) and dumpling with cabbage topping. I ordered a Kolofata which is coke mixed with beer. Not my best choice since it had a washed taste. It was getting late so we headed towards our apartment where we were planning what to do the next day.
